Our Story

Her First Bloom was founded by Barbara, a passionate educator and advocate for girls’ health and wellbeing. After years of supporting young people in schools and communities, Barbara saw firsthand the gaps in puberty and menstrual health education.

She created Her First Bloom to provide inclusive, age-appropriate education that builds confidence, challenges stigma and empowers girls to thrive.

Barbara is a qualified youth worker, wellbeing educator and menstrual health advocate with over 13 years of experience working with children, families and communities.
